COURSE DESCRIPTION

The GIT course covers the Basics as well the Advanced learnings. The course has been created for you by SourceTheCourse technical experts.  What is GIT: Git is a distributed version-control system for tracking changes in source code during software development. It is designed for coordinating work among programmers, but it can be used to track changes in any set of files. Its goals include speed, data integrity and support for distributed, non-linear workflows. Git is Open source and you can download that for free. It allows multiple programmers to work together on the same project at the same time. It creates the multiple copies of project which are treated as the backup and can be recovered at any time. Git was created by Linus Torvalds in 2005 for development of the Linux kernel, with other kernel developers contributing to its initial development.
